R.I.P. Marie L. Officer (04/26/55 - 03/05/07)
As you will see, my mother was very young! After almost 10 years of dealing with this ridiculous, deteriorating, draining disease, she finally is resting at peace!
The strength and grace she showed while digesting the obvious signs of what was ahead of her made not only me, but everyone who knew her, recognize how precious and fragile life is. Take a minute and show someone you love homage while they are here whether they are ill or not. Don't spend the rest of your life wishing you had done better!
I hope her story provides hope and encouragement to all who read it.
